A Word From Our President

Greetings North Texas and Surrounding Areas,

Thank you for visiting the Mocha Sisters Organization Frisco, TX Branch website. We are a non-profit organization recognized under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Frisco branch was charted in 2007 under a dynamic group of ladies that saw a need to incorporate the six core values Sisterhood, Knowledge, Integrity, Community Awareness, Unity, and Networking in all the surrounding North Texas areas. MSO was founded by Ladi Mallam in 2004 with the vision to articulate and promote community awareness (community service), bring unity among women, teach networking skills with other influential and innovative women, provide scholarships and a mentoring program for young ladies.

Our goal is to partner with organizations to empower and promote the awareness of women and young ladies including health, wellness, business etiquette, and much more. Our mission is to further promote the interests of our organization and our members to the community. We strive to make a difference by educating the public and expanding outreach.

As a Frisco, TX MSO member the majority of your time will be spent in community service, fundraising and providing mentorship to aid and build the self-esteem of the young ladies in our community. Also as a member you will be a part of an established and esteemed organization that has numerous benefits such as unparalleled networking and volunteer opportunities with other members, subscriptions to and publishing opportunities with MSO’s newsletter “Mocha Inspirations and Expressions” and email campaigners, leadership positions on the national or regional executive boards, joining MSO committees, and enjoying the MSO Programs. We will strive to instill in our members and mentees a greater awareness of the need for dedication, commitment and to become more responsive to the needs and concerns of our communities.

Once again we thank you for visiting our website. We hope you have gained valuable information regarding the MSO organization. If you would like to contact MSO for more information please visit the contact us page.
