D.R.E.A.M. (Dedicated to Reaching Empowering Aspiring Minds)

DREAM is a mentoring program to aid and build the self-esteem of young female’s ages 5-17. MSO mentorship provides a platform to address pressing and critical issues that faces today’s youth in our community.

The MSO DREAM mentoring program will provide its mentees an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and observe a more experienced professional or parent within a safe, protected enviorment.

Participants in the program are exposed to mentors and elements that increase their knowledge on cultural heritage etiquette, career choices, health /fitness, dating, self-esteem and respect.

The program curriculum is designed for young ladies who are open to growing outside their comfort zone and expanding their horizons.  

Program Overview

Mocha Sisters Organization â„¢ offers a comprehensive program designed to meet the needs of all mentees with sessions that include the following:

• Interview techniques
• “DREAM” Open Minds to New Ideas
• Discipline and Good Manners                              
• Budgeting and Student Finances
• Respecting Yourself and Others
• Saying No to Drugs                                                  
• Exercise and Fitness
• Behavior
• Cultural Hertiage and Self – Awareness
• Dating Talk
• Proper Etiquette
   

During the academic year, students will be paired with a MSO mentor who will inspire them to attend school and succeed in life. Through reflection and collaboration,the mentee can become more self -confident and competent with the knowledge and skills gained in the DREAM mentorship.
